Housing and Residence Life Impact Report
Housing & Residence Life
Housing and Residence Life is committed to providing our students with a safe, dynamic, residential experience that promotes Personal Growth, Mutual Respect, Leadership Development, and Academic Success for every resident in order to actively engage their future as responsible global citizens.
2024-2025 Highlights
Housing achieved a 94% occupancy rate for the 2024–2025 academic year, reflecting strong demand and student engagement in on-campus living.
The department supported 2,320 bed spaces across seven residence halls with a dedicated team of 54 Resident Assistants, 9 Graduate Assistants, and 7 Professional Staff.
Looking ahead: 2025-2026 Goals
Upgrade technology and provide staff training to improve security through updated cameras and electronic access for all exterior and interior doors.
Reimagine residence hall desk operations to streamline services, integrate technology, and align staffing with student needs for improved accessibility and safety.
Redesign traffic flow, check-in procedures, and staffing models to create a faster, safer, and more welcoming process for students and families.
Event Highlight: RezFest Week
|
Cash Cab During RezFest week, students hopped into the Cash Cab for a fast-paced ride full of trivia, prizes, and fun. Participants answered questions on the go—those who made it back to the starting point took home great prizes, thanks to our Greek Life partners. But if they missed a question, the van stopped, and they had to walk back! The event drew a strong turnout and brought plenty of energy, competition, and campus spirit to RezFest.
