Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will welcome Colombian anthropologist, artist, writer, and researcher Camila Rodríguez-Calderón to campus for a special Hispanic Heritage Month presentation at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, in Odum Library.

Meet Jay Johnson, Recipient of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s 2026 Presidential Excellence Award for Staff
Dr. Donald J. Green, president of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, has honored Jay Johnson with the 2026 Presidential Excellence Award for Classified Staff. He joined the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ staff in Fall 2017 and currently serves as head athletic trainer for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Athletics, where he is responsible for all aspects of student-athlete healthcare.

Dr. Donald J. Green, president of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, has honored Dr. Karen Acosta with the 2026 Presidential Excellence Award for Online Teaching. She joined the faculty of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences in Fall 2013 and currently serves as a professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages.
