Meet Jay Johnson, Recipient of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s 2026 Presidential Excellence Award for Staff
Dr. Donald J. Green, president of Â鶹ÊÓƵ, has honored Jay Johnson with the 2026 Presidential Excellence Award for Classified Staff. He joined the Â鶹ÊÓƵ staff in Fall 2017 and currently serves as head athletic trainer for Â鶹ÊÓƵ Athletics, where he is responsible for all aspects of student-athlete healthcare.

Dr. Donald J. Green, president of Â鶹ÊÓƵ, has honored Dr. Karen Acosta with the 2026 Presidential Excellence Award for Online Teaching. She joined the faculty of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences in Fall 2013 and currently serves as a professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages.
