Â鶹ÊÓƵ: What advice do you have for Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s fall graduates and young alumni who wish to demonstrate excellence in their current / future professional roles?

Alan Sanderson: My advice for Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s fall graduates and young alumni is to approach every opportunity with a positive attitude. A positive outlook not only sets the tone for how others see you, but it also helps you work through challenges with resilience. Take time to listen carefully to those around you, considering different options and perspectives before making decisions. True excellence often comes from collaboration, so be the kind of teammate others can rely on and look to as an example of professionalism and integrity. Finally, lead with empathy. Supporting your colleagues with understanding and respect builds trust, strengthens your team, and ensures that your workplace is not only successful, but also a place where people want to contribute and grow.
