Dine and Discover Series Continues March 29
VALDOSTA – Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Campus Wellness will present Dine and Discover: Diabetes and Hypertension from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, in Student Union Meeting Room 1 and 2. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend.
Dawn Taylor, nurse manager at the South Georgia Medical Center Diabetes Management Center, will provide tips on how to prevent high blood pressure and diabetes and explain how to manage and maintain a healthy lifestyle after being diagnosed with diabetes or a related condition.
Sponsored by South Georgia Medical Center, Dine and Discover is a monthly educational series that promotes and encourages an increased awareness and practice of a healthy lifestyle. Additional events will be announced throughout the semester.
Admission is free of charge. A heart healthy lunch will be provided. Enrollment is limited to 45 participants per event. Visit to register.
