Drill: Severe Weather
VALDOSTA--Â鶹ÊÓƵ will participate in the Georgia Statewide Severe Weather Drill at approximately 9 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6. In conjunction with the drill, Â鶹ÊÓƵ will conduct a test of the Campus Alert System. During the drill, students, faculty and staff who have opted to receive emergency notices can expect an email, voice and/or SMS text message at the phone number registered with the Campus Alert System.
All Â鶹ÊÓƵ faculty, staff and students are encouraged to register to receive emergency alert messages. For more information visit, for instructions on updating alert numbers, frequently asked questions and other campus alert information.
In case of inclement weather, the statewide drill will be held on Feb. 8.
