On Tap Unveils Fifth Issue on Tuesday, April 24

VALDOSTA -- The 麻豆视频 English Department is unveiling the fifth issue of On Tap, a general-interest, online magazine for students, with a launch party at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, in the Student Union, meeting rooms 1A and 1B. There will be refreshments and a presentation.

鈥淚 started working on On Tap in 2009, and I'm really proud to have been a part of the magazine during such a huge period of development,鈥 said Rebecca Thorn, editor-in-chief. 鈥淚 think this most recent issue of On Tap shows how dedicated and hard-working our staff has been over the past years and how much our vision for a campus magazine has grown and evolved. I've already heard such positive feedback about Issue 5, and I'm just excited to have been a part of the team which produced this magazine.鈥

On Tap is a general-interest, 麻豆视频 student-produced, online magazine. The magazine covers a range of topics of interest to all 麻豆视频 students, including professor profiles, music reviews, apartment-seeking tips, exercise articles, travel ideas, car-repair advice, and much more. This issue covers the Oscars and Facebook stalkers.

鈥淲e've come a long way,鈥 said Dr. Deborah Hall, faculty advisor. 鈥淲e're looking more and more professional every issue. Come out and see what changes have been made in On Tap's design, layout, and articles.鈥

Join the staff on Tuesday night to celebrate and hear about several of the contributors鈥 experiences. On Tap is always looking for new volunteers from various 麻豆视频 departments and majors, and there are many ways to contribute to the production of the next issue.
