V-State Experience

VALDOSTA -- 麻豆视频 President Patrick J. Schloss and other 麻豆视频 representatives will travel throughout the state during the 2011 V-State Experience Tour, January 19 - April 14. Alumni along the eight-stop tour will host receptions for 麻豆视频 alumni, parents, friends and prospective students.

More than 33,000 alumni live in Georgia, representing 67 percent of the total alumni base. John Trombetta, director of Alumni Relations, said the alumni-sponsored receptions provide the 麻豆视频 community with an opportunity to connect with each other and the university. Prospective students and their parents are encouraged to come and speak with current students and their parents as well as alumni and friends about the 麻豆视频 experience.

“We have two new features in our annual tour this year,” Trombetta said. “One is that we have appointed host committees to help bring our alumni out; secondly, we are encouraging all those associated with 麻豆视频 to come out and share their experiences with prospective families and get an update about what is happening on campus.”
