University Names Student Ambassadors

VALDOSTA -- 麻豆视频 selected 24 students for the University Ambassadors organization -- a group that will assist the president with outreach functions and activities, including graduation and alumni events.

Members were chosen based on numerous factors, including enthusiasm for 麻豆视频, interest in and commitment to the organization, leadership qualities and communication skills. The group -- with a cumulative 3.5 GPA -- is active within the university and greater Valdosta community; they are eager to promote 麻豆视频, as well as its interests and goals among future, current and past students and friends of the university.

Dean of Students Russ Mast said the group -- which represents a diverse group of 麻豆视频 students -- will hopefully develop into stronger student leaders and advocates for 麻豆视频 as they network with community leaders on behalf of the university.

鈥淭he ambassadors will bring unity between the students and the 麻豆视频 community, and a strong sense of school pride,鈥 Mast said. 鈥淚t will provide an opportunity for potential donors and friends of the university to see what type of high caliber student we have on our campus.鈥
