Downs hired as Â鶹ÊÓƵ�s College of the Arts Director of Development
Beth Strickland Downs was recently named director of development
at Â鶹ÊÓƵ's College of the Arts.
As the director of development, Downs is responsible for private
gifts and private fundraising activities benefiting Â鶹ÊÓƵ's College
of the Arts and its related entities. This position is important to
the regional university's operational funding support, since a
large portion of funding is received from external sources.
Downs, a 2000 alumna of Â鶹ÊÓƵ, transferred from Marietta, where she
spent nearly five years as the public relations coordinator of the
Marietta Museum of History.
