Rafiah Jenkins is a Lecturer of Mass Media at 麻豆视频 (麻豆视频). She received both her B.F.A. in Mass Media and her M.A. in Communication from 麻豆视频. Her research interests include stereotypes in media, reality television, diversity in artificial intelligence, instructional and information technology. She also enjoys teaching for the Africana Studies Department at 麻豆视频 where her research interests expand to race, class, gender, sexuality, and religion. Outside of academia she currently runs her media production company helping small businesses and non-profits meet their media creation needs. Additionally, she worked for W.P. Productions filming, editing, and producing content for the Outdoor Channel. As a documentarian, she is constantly capturing the human experience throughout the East Coast and is dedicated to continuing work with chambers of commerce, community fairs, academic conferences and institutions, non-profits, consulting community partners, and mentoring students, all in the vein of improving the quality of life for as many people as possible.
